Brimming with Ideas

Well, its 1pm and neither of my boys are down for a nap yet and we are watching disney's Cars for like the gillzillenth time, and I am itching to do some sewing but at the same time I think a massive family nap is due soon too and I really need one today.
Had a few new ideas last night so am working of a few top secret prototypes ( I have looked and cannot find these on the market!!!!), but need to spend some time sewing.
Am also working on some training pants for my 2year old son Ryan (not that he'll probably wear them), but silly me with mummy brain didn't order enough FOE and spent an hour staring at this stupid elastic and the training pants components trying to figure out how I was going to fit the elastic on. Then realised I hadn't ordered enough!!! At that point I went to bed!
I had a lovely day yesterday with my friend and her mothers group (I gate crashed, don't think they minded too much), we went and saw Julie and Julia, loved it was great can't tell everyone enough to go see it already!!!!! Now I want to live in Paris and eat french food!!!
Needed a bit of toddler free time ( he was in his one day of daycare) and was nice to talk to other mothers. I think sometimes as mothers with new babies, we can lose our grip in reality a little, especially when you spend all day in a room trying to settle a crying infant or breastfeeding or toilet training a toddler and fighting that toddler to wear pants!!!! So it is nice to have a bit of "I am not the only one with a baby only catnapping!!!!
Anyway, I am going to have a coffee (decaf) and a muffin (weight watchers one from that muffin place I can't remeber), as I have am ravenous today as my toddler ate pretty much all of my french toast for breakfast (if I had bought him his own, I am sure he would have gone "don't want it"!!!!).

Lacking motivation

Well I haven't written for over a week, but I have to say having 2 kids keeps me rather busy and there just doesn't seem enough hours in the day. I seem to be seriously lacking motivation at the moment and hope that it will just be a temporary thing. I think if I can get some sewing done and get some orders I will feel better and be more motivated, but for the time being I have enticed myself by ordering business cards (even though this is technically not a business yet just a hobby) and found someone to be in photos so I can upgrade my phamplet and instructions for use.
And I am not sure if anybody has been reading my blog, but I shall blog away when able and hope someone does. My facebook page is doing well and am thinking I need to start some giveaway deals. But first I need to sew!!!!!!!

Welcome

Hi all and welcome to my very first ever blog!
So I decided to start this up to share with you all the gorgeous handmade creations I have been coming up with and also my friend, Kylie's gorgeous handmade creations.
Also, along the way I have found some amazing and supportive people, who themselves have gone through building a business. Their support and advice has been invaluable!!
I have also found found some great and innovative products for babies and children that I would love to shre with you!
I ihope you'll be patient with me though, as this is all new to me and I get distracted easily by a crying baby wanting a feed or a 2 year whose hungry (they are currently watching the Wiggles!!).
I would love feedback and orders for my products!!!!!
